FAQs
Q1. I’m curious about the principles of Kakao ↔ DFINERY performance measurement.
: Kakao and DFINERY can measure performance and check data in two ways.
-
After a tracking link is issued through a Kakao partner, when a user clicks on the link, the performance is measured at the discretion of DFINERY.
1-1) The measurement method is the same as DFINERY general advertising performance measurement. [DFINERY Performance Measurement Principle]
-
If you have added the Kakao API of Open attribution modeling in the DFINERY console, the ad inflow is determined by comparing the information on advertisements displayed in the Kakao Moment page with the app execution information collected through DFINERY.
2-1) Performance data imported through Kakao API is imported according to the group by condition values below.
Report group by condition value Kakao → DFN Data Justice campaign (m) / tracking link campaign_id Kakao Campaign ID adgroup_id (m) adgroup_id Kakao Ad Group ID creative (m) representative_id Kakao Creative ID
Q2. I set up custom event loading in Pixel & SDK, but there is no change.
: The checklist to check is as follows.
①. Have you correctly set up a specific event postback linked to DFINERY?
>> If you have not activated the postback toggle or have not run an advertisement yet, you need to check whether you have set the postback sending socpe to Only
[Go to the postback activation guide]
②.Are there any spaces in the vertical bar symbol when modifying the definition postback view/edit?
>> The custom event to be passed must be entered without braces and without spaces. → PageView|example
③. When modifying the event type in the DFINERY postback view/edit, did you include 'cusotm:'?
>> Just record the name of the custom event to be delivered → PageView|example (O), PageView|custom:example (X)
Q3. Check the performance by adding a tracking link to group by, and a specific number other than the tracking link you created is shown in the report.
: The value entered as a number represents the performance through the Kakao API mentioned in Q1.
Please check the source of the ID through ‘Values transmitted by Kakao as DFN data (table in Q1)’.
Q4. Can WEB cookie data be posted back to Pixel & SDK?
: Yes, cookie values accumulated in DFINERY can be transferred to ‘Kakao Pixel & SDK’. Loading is possible.
However, because the cookie value accumulated in DFINERY cannot be used by Kakao as an advertising identification key, it cannot be used for targeting parameters or conversion measurement.
