If you register a test device or test user in advance, you can select the device when creating a campaign.
You can check the message content in advance. In this case, the method for testing push and pop-up messages is as follows.
- Push message: Confirm by sending a one-time message before creating a campaign
- Pop-up message: After creating a campaign, check the message in the app on the selected device

When checking whether you can test push messages with that ID, consider the following conditions.
- App and Web:
Whether push token is linked or not
- Kakao: Whether you have a mobile phone number or Kakao ID
[[Quote:Warning:Medium]]
Precautions
For Kakao channels, messages are sent to your mobile phone number or Kakao ID.
When sending an actual message successfully, it is not possible to determine whether the success was due to the number or Kakao ID.
- SMS: presence of mobile phone number
Pop-up messages are displayed on all connected devices, and after creating a campaign, you can check the message on that device.
Push Token Instructions
A push token is like an address attached to each smartphone or web browser. You can use this address to send your message to exactly the device you want.
Therefore, to send a test message on the App and Web platforms, you need to link the push token.
For test users, you can check the presence or absence of push token integration on the registration screen.
For test devices, you can register them by directly entering the identification value.

1.Criteria for Shipping Success
A test device that registers with a push token can only determine the success or failure of “sending” a message. Because of this, the message may not be received on the actual device even if it is judged as ‘successful delivery’ after sending.
For example, in the case of a device registered with a token, even if the OS consent to receiving the message is rejected, the delivery result is unconditionally judged to be successful. Therefore, if you do not receive the message even after success, please check both your device's consent and the app's consent to receive it.
2. Personalized message exposure
Test devices registered with a push token may display an empty personalized message.
However, when setting the personalization default value, the default value is exposed.
Use tags
If you register tags in advance, you can easily select test devices and test users through tag filters when sending tests. This tag can be used for both test users and test devices. For example, if you enter a filter called ‘Marketing Team’ into test device A and save it, you can select the corresponding tag when registering a test user.
Up to 500 tags can be created for each app, and a separate deletion function is not provided. However, if a test device or test user does not use all of a specific tag, the tag is automatically deleted.
Therefore, if the number of tags exceeds 500 when registering a test device or test user and it is impossible to create a new tag, you must remove all tags you wish to delete from the test device and test user using the tag.
