How to sign up and create an account

This document guides you through the membership registration process and how to create an account to use DFINERY.

1.join the membership

DFINERY allows you to sign up for membership through your email account.

a. Go to https://console.dfinery.io/sign-up page.
b. After entering the required information and clicking the Sign Up button, a verification email will be sent to the email address you entered.
c. Once you complete verification through the email you received, you will be moved to the account creation step.

If you do not receive the DFINERY membership registration confirmation email, please check as follows.

1) Check spam mailbox: If confirmed, process the email as a normal email and then perform authentication.
2) Unable to check in spam mailbox: Contact the DFINERY team ( dfn@igaworks.com ) with the email account information used to register as a member.

Precautions when signing up for membership

- Email : You cannot enter anything outside of the email format, and we recommend using your company email address.
- name : Only 'letters' or 'letters + numbers' can be entered, and special characters cannot be included. Additionally, URL format cannot be entered to prevent external links from entering.
- password : It can be set only if all the conditions below are met based on the personal information processing system security policy.

※ Conditions when entering password
1) Includes lowercase English letters
2) Includes uppercase English letters
3) Contains special characters
4) Contains at least one number
5) Enter at least 8 characters
6) Do not include ID or name
7) No repetition of consecutive numbers/letters or the same numbers/characters (limited to 4 characters)
> Possible examples: '123', '12345', 'abababab', 'ab12', '@@!@', etc.
> Impossible examples: '1234', 'abcd', 'aaaa', 1111', '@@@@', etc.

When resetting your password, you cannot reuse up to 3 previously used passwords. Other input conditions are the same as above.

Information on account locking when login fails

If you fail to enter your password more than 5 times during login attempts, your account will be immediately locked. (Lock information pop-up appears when retrying)
When your account is locked, you can unlock it through the ' Account Lockout ' email that is automatically sent.

[How to unlock account]
1) ‘Account locking action’ notification email
When you click the 'Unlock Account' button in the automatically sent email, please follow the instructions provided.

2) Reset password
When you click the 'Reset Password' button on the console screen, you will be taken to the reset request screen. If you enter your registered email address, a 'password reset' email will be automatically sent, and you can change your password according to the procedure provided when you click the 'password reset' button in the email.

The email is only valid for 1 hour (KST) from the time the 'Account Lockout' & 'Password Reset' notification email is sent.
We recommend that you check your email right away. If you have any difficulties during the unlocking process, please contact dfn@igaworks.com and we will provide guidance.

2. Create an account

Once you have completed membership registration, you can create an account.
An account is a unit that manages apps and users such as companies and teams, and multiple accounts can be created.
One user can also belong to multiple accounts.

a. Enter an account name to create it. The account name can be modified later in the settings screen within the console.

b. Select one of the accounts you created and go to the DFINERY console page.

3. Create app

Once you complete the account creation, you can start creating apps and managing user permissions.
You can access the account you created to create apps or invite users to collaborate.

When you first log into your account, you can create a demo app to explore DFINERY features and virtual data right away.
Or, register an app to actually use DFINERY.

After registering the app, you can receive an app key and secret key, and start linking the SDK using the issued key information.
