Alternative sending means that if a message fails after sending it to a specific channel (Kakao), the message is sent to an alternative channel.
If sending a push message fails
after selecting the Kakao (Notification Talk & Friend Talk) channel, you can
alternatively send it to the SMS channel
.
Alternative messages by channel
Alternative sending settings are only available when sending 'Notification Talk' & 'Friend Talk' messages on the Kakao channel.
However, alternative sending settings are not possible for Friend Talk's advertising-only message type. Please refer to the table below for detailed standards for each channel.

Set up an alternative message
🚩 Alternative messages can be selected when creating a push message.
1.Go to the Growth Action > Push Message menu.
2. Click the ‘ + Create Push Message ’ button at the top right.
3. After entering the wizard , set the audience target and go to ‘②Channel’ .
4. Select Kakao (Notification Talk & Friend Talk), which allows alternative sending.
5. When selecting the kakao (Notification Talk & Friend Talk) channel, you can choose whether to use an alternative message as shown below.
6. When using alternative messaging, you can select the SMS (SMS, LMS, MMS) message type .
7. Message settings: You can set the message for the selected channel and the alternative message.
8. Once you have created a message , you can check it through Growth Action > Push Message list .
