We will guide you through how to utilize segments created through Audience Studio. We recommend that you use the created audience according to your purpose and situation.
1.Audience download: Use for retargeting/detargeting
DFINERY can extract ADID/IDFA of actual users, and can be used as a re/detargeting parameter by providing the downloaded CSV file to the media.
[[Quote: Guide: Small]] DFINERY minimum analysis standard is Advertising ID (ADID, IDFA).
Understanding ADID and IDFA, the minimum identification value in the mobile app environment
- Customer data > audience studio > Create audience and click the download button

2. Cohort analysis: Analyzing reports using only created segment parameters
Created segments can be added to specific reports for cohort analysis.
For example,
if you have created an audience of users with a specific membership level,
you can analyze additional data such as event history that occurred only for that audience.
[[Citation:Guide:Small]] Cohort analysis helps avoid the trap of averaging. Cohort Analysis: Escaping the Trap of Averages
- Access method: Analytics > dashboard or data explorer > conditions > Audience
- Create the desired audience according to your purpose [Go to the creation method guide]
- Add the created audience to the report according to the purpose. (Select Analytics > conditions > Audience)
[[Quote:Guide:Small]] The DFINERY report exposes device-based results.
If you perform cohort analysis on user segment data, the report will be displayed based on the device connected to the user. For example, if one user ID has two devices, they will appear as two entries in the report.
3.
DMP insight: Check insights by combining segments with DMP data
Audience segments created through DFINERY can be combined with data from Mobile Index, IGAworks DMP solution.
