Audience Sync is a function that automatically transfers the ADID of the audience created through Audience Studio to each advertising partner. This allows you to easily run retargeting ads with each advertising partner.
Connected Audience Partners
Audience Sync currently supports the following advertising partners: (To be added later)
- Criteo
- Tradingworks
Order of use
Audience Sync is linked using the following procedure.
- Enter DFINERY Console Customer Data → Audience Partner menu
- Select Audience Partner (Facebook, Criteo, Tradingworks)
- Audience Partner Connection
- Connection settings after partner connection
- Create or select an audience in Customer Data -> Audience Studio
- Connect Audience Partner Connection via selected Audience Sync feature
① Connect to Ad partner
To use Audience Sync, you must connect each advertising partner.
Advertising partners can be checked through the Customer Data → Audience Partner Setting menu on the left menu of the DFINERY console.
Select the Facebook medium and click the “Login with Facebook” button on the right to log in.
Check your permission for Dfinery Audience Delivery on Facebook and click the “Agree and Continue” button.
If you agree to all permissions and automatically return to DFINERY, you will see that your Account is connected as shown below.
[[Quote: Risk: Moderate]] In the case of Facebook, the same audience cannot be delivered within 90 minutes.
For example, if the first audiences you sent were A, B, and C, and you sent A, B, and C within 90 minutes, it would be recognized as an error.
However, if the first audiences sent were A, B, and C, and A, B, C, and D were sent within 90 minutes, it is not an error.
Criteo
Select the Criteo medium and click the “Login with Criteo” button on the right to log in.
Tradingworks
Select the Tradingworks medium and click the “Registration Token” button.

Enter Tradingworks’ UserID and Token values.
Tradingworks User ID (email account) and Token can be found in Tradingworks account information.
② Setting up Connection
Once media setup is complete, set up a connection for audience delivery.
Select the medium and click the Add Connection button on the right side of the Connections menu.
In the case of Facebook, set up and save the Facebook account (Account) and ad account (Ad Account).
Criteo
For Criteo, select and add the Advertiser ID you set.
Tradingworks
In the case of Tradingworks, select the registered User ID, select the ships Platform, Package Name, and country, and save.
Check the connection information in the connection list.
③ Connect the created audience
: Once connection settings for each medium are completed, connect the established connection and audience.
Select and connect audiences
- Select the audience in Customer Data -> Audience Studio and select the Sync menu.
In the Sync menu, click the Add Sync button.
Select Media and Connection Information from the Add Sync menu.
Check the saved Connection.
Sync Rule
Depending on the set audience type, each audience is sent to the medium according to the rules below.
Fixed Type
- Once the audience setup and calculation are complete, we deliver the audience. (Not transmitted during mock calculation)
- Likewise, when renewing the audience, the audience is automatically delivered.
Dynamic Type
- Audiences are automatically delivered when the audience is updated.
- However, in the case of Facebook, the same audience cannot be delivered within 90 minutes.
FAQs
Q1. I registered my Facebook audience incorrectly, is it possible to delete it?
: If the wrong account is linked, you can revoke the permission on Facebook, not on the DFINERY console.
Refer to the flow below to delete incorrectly linked accounts.
Q2. Can I check in DFINERY whether the audience sync was sent properly?
: Yes, you can check the audience status in the DFINERY console.
You can check the sync delivery status
by ‘Saving the audience segment design → Click the Sync button → Click the gear icon on the tool → View history’

Q3. Can I check on Facebook whether audience sync was delivered properly?
: Yes, you can check whether the audience was delivered properly on Facebook as well.
‘Facebook Ad Manager’ → ‘Select the business account on the left’ → ‘Target’ → ‘Select the Connection name created in DFINERY → Click ‘History’ → Check the updated date and time

However, the details of the delivered parameters cannot be confirmed, and only the updated details can be confirmed through date and time.

Q4. An alert was displayed indicating that you did not agree to the custom target terms and conditions. How should I proceed next?
: To use Audience Sync, you must accept Facebook Custom Target Terms and Conditions.
