What is an Ad Campaign and how to create it?
Definition of Ad Campaign
Ad Campaign, defined by DFINERY, refers to a campaign (bundle of tracking links) unit for setting postbacks for each partner or applying Ad Fraud defense and attribution rules. This is
the same as the definition of a campaign generally provided by the advertising ecosystem
.
Ad Campaign can create tracking links on a per-campaign basis, or set postback and AD Fraud defense and attribution rules individually, so it can respond even when advertising types are different or different rules are required for each country.
Now, through DFINERY, create an AD Campaign tailored to your advertising product and situation, set rules suited to each purpose, and execute the campaign simultaneously.
How to create an Ad Campaign
a. Go to the Attribution - Ad Campaign menu.
b. Click “Create a new campaign” or the “+create campaign” button at the top right to register and save the “Campaign name.”

What is Tracking Link and how to create it?
Definition of Tracking Link
Tracking link is the minimum unit and measurement URL for measuring advertisements, and must be applied when landing advertisements to measure advertisement performance.
As shown in the screen below, DFINERY Tracking Link supports All-Link, which allows you to apply advertising landing to users on all platforms, including the user's device (AOS, IOS, WEB) and whether or not the app is installed, with just one link setting when running an ad, as shown in the screen below.

Support for Deferred Deep Link
_ DFINERY tracking link supports deferred deep links set in the app.
_ Delayed deep linking refers to a function that lands on the market and moves the user who runs the app after installing it to a specific app page.
For example, when a user who participates in the 'A Sneakers' advertisement installs and runs the app, they are taken directly to the 'A Sneakers' product page.
_ SDK settings are required to activate deep links or delayed deep links and analyze the results within DFINERY.

Pre-tracking test
We will guide you through testing methods before starting advertising operations using the issued tracking link.
Test progress essential checklist
a. Send the issued tracking link URL to your email client, etc., then touch it to complete installation and execution of the app.
b. For accurate testing, we recommend using an email client rather than a messenger such as KakaoTalk.
c. Do not enter the tracking URL directly into the browser input window. It is not tested properly.
d. For some advertising media, numbers may only be counted in a live environment. In this case, please contact your partner (media) representative for pre-testing methods.
1.Via Live Brix
Once the test is completed, you can immediately check the ad-touch and execution figures by medium and tracking link in the Analytics - Live Brix menu.
Live Brix provides real-time readings in 1-minute increments up to 25 minutes.
[[Citation: Guide: Small]] Click on the graph to check the counting standard time.
2. Use Report (recommended)
You can check the resulting report in Data Explorer - Single Touch Attribution Report.
Results are reflected within 15 minutes, but accurate readings may take up to 2 hours.
Single Touch Attribution Report: Table Design Composition
_ Select Date Type as Hourly
_ Group by: Platform > Ad Partner > Select Tracking Link Name
_ Metrics: Select Click (Total), New Install (by Click), Re-Install (by Click), Deeplink Open (Total)
Single Touch Attribution Report: Conditions configuration
_ Data Range: Select ‘today’ date
2-1. Check test device ADID
In Data Explorer - Single Touch Attribution Report, you can enter adid/idfa in the Conditions condition.
This means you can check whether attribution is complete for a specific channel from the device you tested on.
You can add the Analytics Conditions condition as shown below and enter the adid or idfa of the tested device.

Example of advertising landing application according to situation
# Normal case
Among the tracking link landing options, the most common case is
to send people who do not have the app installed to the market and deep link those who have installed the app
.
In other words, those who do not have the app installed are moved to the market to encourage them to install the app, and those who install the app immediately run the app (deep link) and move to the desired page within the app.
- Users who do not have the app installed → Landing on the market
- User installing app → Deep link landing (app runs and moves to specific page)
a.
Select the landing format as “Download + Deeplink”.
b.
Deep Linking
"고정 패스 "를 선택했다면 Path값을 입력 (귀사 개발팀에게 문의 부탁드립니다)
If you select “Dynamic”, replace the Path value in {deeplink_custom_path}.
c.
Ad-Touch Landing

# Landing users who do not have the app installed on a web page
Depending on your advertising operation strategy, you may need to move those who have not installed the app directly to the web page rather than moving them to the market to encourage installation.
For example, users who do not have the app installed are directed to a web page for a specific product rather than a market.
- Users who do not have the app installed → Web page landing
- User installing app → Deep link landing (app runs and moves to specific page)
a. Select
landing format
as “Download + Deeplink”.
b.
Deep Linking
"고정 패스 "를 선택했다면 Path값을 입력
If you select “Dynamic”, replace the Path value in {deeplink_custom_path}.
c.
Ad-Touch Landing
"고정 패스 " 선택 : "직접 설정"으로 변경 후 앱 미설치자가 랜딩될 웹페이지 주소를 입력 (Android/iOS/PC Web 각각)
"정적 패스 " 선택 : 앱 미설치자가 랜딩될 웹페이지 주소를 {m_adtouch_custom_url} 파라미터에 치환하여 사용
# Landing users who do not have the app installed on a web page (for Android and iOS)
Depending on your advertising operation strategy, you may need to move those who have not installed the app directly to the web page rather than moving them to the market to encourage installation.
In this case, it may be necessary to differentiate by Android/iOS.
For example, Android uses deep link landing, and only iOS allows landing to the web page of a specific product.
- Users without Android app installed → Market landing
- Users who do not have the iOS app installed → Web page landing
-
User installing app → Deep link landing (app runs and moves to specific page)
a. Select Landing Format as “Download + Deeplink”.
b.
Deep Linking
For example, if you want only iOS users to land on a web page rather than a deep link,
Turn off the iOS deep link activation toggle
.
c.
Ad-Touch Landing
previously
b.
Since the iOS deep link operation is turned off in Deep Linking, even if the iOS app is installed, the deep link is ignored and advertising participants are landed at the address entered in “Direct Settings”.
# Land app-installed users on a web page
Although it is not common, it may be necessary to unconditionally direct all users to a specific web page, regardless of whether or not the app is installed.
For example, there may be a case where you need to expose important notices that cannot be viewed within the market or app.
- Users who do not have the app installed → Web page landing
- App installation user → Web page landing
a.
Select “Download” as the landing format.
b.
Ad-Touch Landing
Select “Static”: Change to “Setting directly” and enter the webpage address where users without the app will be landed. (Android/iOS/PC Web respectively)
Select “Static Pass (Dynamic)”: Use the webpage address where users who do not have the app installed will land by substituting it in the {m_adtouch_custom_url} parameter.
