Post-back: Delivering collected data to DFINERY
Follow
Definition of Post-back
‘Postback’ refers to transmitting data collected through DFINERY to the customer’s desired end-point (mainly a medium).
The postback function can be used to optimize advertising for partners (media) dependent on a specific campaign or to settle advertising media costs.
The DFINERY Postback function allows marketers to select App Open and In-App Event and specify the sending range (All or Only) according to the advertising product to be operated by simply activating a toggle.

Understanding attribution for growth marketers
Why should you use the post-back function?
1. You can optimize the advertising performance of your media.
When partners (media) receive analysis data measured through DFINERY (=Postback), they have various efficiency judgment grounds such as 'new execution', 'login', and 'purchase', so they can proceed with more objective performance optimization.
2. You can run audience-targeted advertisements.
If you use the postback function, you can deliver (=Postback) the result of specific user behavior data (signup, addition to shopping cart, etc.) and purchase history data measured by DFINERY (i.e., behavior information of a specific user group) to the media company. Media companies can know the target audience based on data received from Adbrix, enabling more precise audience targeting.
3. Unified performance measurement and advertising can be carried out.
If you plan to run multiple media, you need to link the SDKs of multiple media companies. However, if you run a campaign by linking all SDKs, there is a fatal problem that it is difficult to measure unified advertising performance.
However, DFINERY determines advertising performance without duplication based on the Last Click model through a single SDK and sends a postback to each media company, enabling unified performance measurement and advertising progress.
