Click Spamming Defense Settings and Report Check
FollowAd Fraud : Click Spamming
Click Spamming refers to a type of Ad Fraud where a user does not actually respond to an ad (Impression, Click, etc.), but sends a fake signal indicating they did. Specifically, it involves apps with ad monetization inventory planting malware to send fake signals of ad impressions or clicks from regular users for the purpose of ad monetization.
This type of Ad Fraud varies according to the form of ad monetization (such as revenue per click, revenue per install, etc.), but fundamentally, it expects greater revenue at the time of app installation. It creates a large number of random ad responses (Impression, Click, etc.) and waits for some users to enter within the contribution recognition period (Lookback Window) to hijack attribution performance. Click Spamming is a representative Ad Fraud that causes organic cannibalization, and generally, the CTIT (Click Time Install Time) pattern appears irregularly.
