Audience studio is a very powerful tool to analyse your competitor app using DMP Insights, cohort analytics, and Targeting / De-Targerting Campaigns.

[Understanding Audience Studio]
(1) DMP Insights
You can use DMP insights by creating an App-based audience in Audience Studio.
Using this audience you can analyze, current your app's usage, and the major characteristics of your competitors (cross-app usage, current new install/app delete).

A minimum of 100,000 audiences is required to use DMP Insights. (Android)

- Current New Install / App deletes
- Current status of competitors' apps.
(2) DFINERY template for Dynamic Audience
Using the DFINERY template for Dynamic audiences, you can send targeting messages or targeting / de-targeting campaigns. (These templates cannot be deleted or modified)

(3) Cohort Analytics
The created audience can be selected as "Audience Condition" in Data studio.
For example, if you create an audience that spent an amount of $100 in-app purchase user in 30 days, you can analyze daily in-app purchase amount, the app opens, and app attributions report only using this audience.

Example
- Percentage of Non-register users vs registered users with the App campaign.
- App re-opens analytics between VIP users and Novice Users.
(4) Targeting Message
The created audience can be used on Growth Action (push / in-app message) to the in-app campaign.
For example, if you create an audience as spent an amount of $100 in-app purchase user in 30 days, you can send push / in-app messages only targeting this audience.
Example
* Send push message to Non-register users for registering your app.
* Send push message to VIP users to purchase the high-valued product
(5) Targeting Campaign
You can download the user's ADID / IDFA in the created audience. Using this ADID / IDFA you can run Targeting / De-Targetring campaign.
For example, if you create an audience as spent an amount of $100 in-app purchase user in 30 days, you can download ADID / IDFA list to run Targeting / De-Targetring campaign.
