Understanding the Analysis Structure
- The report of Data Explorer is a combination of Group-by, Metric and Condition.
- Select the type of report you want, and combine the above three items to analyze the data.
Group-by
‘Group-by’ is a condition to calculate the data with the same value by grouping them as a row. You can set at most three items as a ‘sub-Group-by’. For example, you can form a drill-down structured report by putting ‘Platform’ > ‘Ad Partner’ > “Tracking Link Name(ID)’.
Group-by Condition items are as following.
[[인용:안내:작게]] Marked as ‘0’ if the data analysis result gets adjusted depending on the ‘Conditions’ setting of ‘Group-by’.

[[인용:위험:작게]] - The more detailed the ‘Group-by’ is and longer the data range is, the number of the row increases.
- The report might not show if the number of the row is too many.
- The trial time for the report inquiry is five minutes, and if the time elapses, the report might not be shown.
- Please adjust the ‘Group-by’ steps and data range if the report does not show.
Metric
‘Metric’ is the column of result index which shows the result of the analysis. For example, you can add ‘New Install’ or certain event values of the Group-by conditions as a ‘Metric’ to get reported. The provided metrics for each report type varies.
The detailed ‘Metrics’ and examples of each report types can be checked at following guides.
- Single Touch Attribution, Report examples and Explanation
- General Event Analytics, Report examples and Explanation
- Universal Retention Analytics, Report examples and Explanation

Conditions
Conditions means the item which you can set the conditions for specifying the analysis items such as time period of report or audience groups. The condition items which ‘Conditions’ provides are as following.
- Data range
Set the time period for analysis. The time unit starts from hourly basis. - Time Zone
Select the time zone to proceed the analysis. All the results can be set based on UTC. - Audience
Select the specific audience group extracted from Audience Studio to proceed the analysis. - Analytics Conditions
Select or delete the events, channels, device information and others to be the analysis conditions. For example, you can specify the users from certain AD partners or specify the purchase event only. - Attribution Conditions
You can set the standard time limit for giving credits to the ad channels. For example, you can specify the purchase events within 48 hours after the ‘New Install’.
Explanation : Count the events within 7 days after the Last Open.
- Open Attribution Type
New Install / Re-Install / Deeplink Open
Select the ‘Open Types’ through the ad channels. For example, if you select ‘Re-install’, you will specify the events(purchase, log-in, etc.) after the ‘Re-install’ through the ad channel, and give credit to proceed with the analysis. - Event Lookback Window
1hour ~ 31days
Set the Lookback Window for event performance analysis. For example, if you set ‘Open Attribution Type’ as ‘Re-install’, and ‘Event Lookback Window’ as ‘2 Days’, you will specify the events(purchase, log-in, etc.) made by the ‘Re-installed’ users after the 48 hours from the time which selected event took place. - Event Attribution View Point
